Power Yoga

Power Yoga is a dynamic and vigorous style of yoga rooted in the traditional practice of Ashtanga yoga, emphasizing strength, flexibility, and stamina through challenging and flowing sequences of movements and poses. In a Power Yoga class, practitioners engage in a fast-paced and intense workout designed to build heat in the body and increase muscle tone, featuring a variety of standing poses, balancing poses, twists, backbends, and inversions, all linked together in a continuous flow synchronized with breath.

This fluid movement fosters concentration and a sense of fluidity throughout the practice. While the intensity and structure of Power Yoga classes can vary depending on the instructor, they typically provide a full-body workout that challenges both the physical body and the mind, enhancing strength, flexibility, balance, and endurance, while also promoting mental focus, stress reduction, and a sense of empowerment.
