Hatha Yoga

Every style of yoga, from Ashtanga to Vinyasa, falls under the umbrella of Hatha Yoga, which means "forceful" in Sanskrit and combines the active, warm qualities of the Sun ('Ha') with the receptive, cool aspects of the Moon ('tha'). Hatha aims to create balance by uniting opposites, such as strength and flexibility in the body, through static poses and breathing exercises that promote harmony between effort and surrender.

This practice is a powerful tool for self-transformation, encouraging a focus on the breath to calm the mind's fluctuations and to be fully present in each moment.
